Gordon has 35 years combined experience in the mining, construction, civil engineering and utility sectors - 17 of which have been specifically in a health and safety role. Gordon advises clients in relation to their health and safety obligations and is a Site Safety Plus ConstructionSkills Approved Tutor. He delivers various Site Safety Plus Courses on a regional and national level.

Although the company has grown rapidly since starting up in 2006, Gordon remains very much at the heart of the company and maintains close working relationships with clients and has forged a strong bond with the HSE.  He is extremely passionate about personal professional development and ensures the staff at Seaham Safety Services embark on their own training and development programmes.

Judith MacPherson MCMI
Corporate Services Director

Judith MacPherson joined the business as Director of Corporate Services. She moved from her role as Director at DISC, an independent charity which works with the socially deprived and excluded. However, she still lends her expertise to the voluntary organisation on a consultancy basis. Meanwhile, her position at Seaham Safety Services Limited adopts a wide-ranging role which includes responsibility for HR, Finance and the strategic development of the business overall.

Director

Gordon has been with the company since its inception.  He is responsible for directing the day to day activities of the health and safety department and advising and supporting the team. He is also tasked with business development, financial planning and ensuring the company has a rigorous IT infrastructure.

With the rapid expansion of the company, Gordon continues to be instrumental in all elements of the businesses growth, from recruiting for key positions to overseeing the phased refurbishment of the company's new premises.

Gordon is the holder of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
